Life with Hollie

Hollie was born on May 30, 2006. She is so much fun and she changes everyday. I have created this so family and friends from far and wide can keep up with how she is doing. And because I don't want to change my whole website we will pretend that this site is called Life With Hollie and Jeremy. Jeremy joined us on October 13, 2008. I am sure we are going to have a blast raising these two.

I am just checking to see if this will post - I think I might start posting to here again

Wow has it really been almost a year since my last post? I guess I have been really busy, that and it is s much easier to post on Facebook, but is that really an excuse - it's the best I can come up with.
Well, Hollie is officially in Kindergarden - she seems to like it, well, about as much as she liked school last year. She gets really excited about going but can't really remember much of what happens during the day. About all I know they do is eat lunch and, oh, today they went to music class and the teacher played a slide whistle - she offered that info up all by herself - it must have been really cool.
We had a super busy summer with lots of really hot days and waterdays.
Hollie also went to 4 different Vacation Bible Schools, Jeremy went to one (he was only old enough for the one down the street). They learned a lot of songs that they still sing and ad lib to, it's pretty funny, I think Hollie might be a song writer someday.
They both also took swimming lessons, which Hollie did great at, she could actually swim by herself after the 2 week long session. Jeremy only got in the water for three of 9 days, he was the youngest and I think got scared after he fell off a step on the first day. He swam the last 2 days also. At least he finally lost his fear of the water.
We ended our summer with a trip to the beach (yes we only went once this summer, it was just too darn hot). For some reason I only have 2 pictuers on my camera of that and I don't think Scott would be very happy about them. When I figure out how to download pictures off my phone, I will post beach pics. Maybe I will post again soon.

Halloween 2010 was a big hit. We had a great time Trick or Treating in Kevin and Monicas neighborhood.

The first scarry person Jeremy saw (a friend who's house we went to first see pic below) he turned and screamed and every time he put the mask on Jeremy would cry. By the time we got to actual ouutside trick or treating he was apparently over it (as you can see by the high 5 below).

HOLLIES FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

Well we did it - so far we have raised a child to the age of Pre-Kindergarden!!!
Hollie started her first day of real school today (I know Kindergarden is real but this is darn close for us) and I guess she had a good time. There were no tears (at least not from her) no complaints, nothing. She even learned an entire song today - the B-I-B-L-E song - if any knows it.
And the highlight of her day you ask??? She got chocolate milk for snack time!! She has only ever had that one other time and now she gets it everyday of she wants it:) She is so excited, if nothing else she will get up to go to school for the chocolate milk.
She was also the first one to sign in on the daily chart and I was so proud to hear a mom behind me whisper how well she writes her name (at that time she didn't know that I was her mom). You go Hollie!!

May was a very busy month in the Bearden house.

First of all was Hollie's first dance recital. She did a great job. Her class was just so darn cute I was speechless.

Next was her gymnastics demonstation. She is a little more talented in gym but doesn't listen much better. I think next year we might focus a little more on gym as I think she gets bored in ballet.

Finally my little girl turned 4. I can't believe it has been 4 years, time flies when you are having fun and 99% of the time I am having a blast.

So Happy Birthday to my BIG little girl who has made my life 100% better in all ways.
And just incase you were wondering, yes Aunt T did it again this year. You go Aunt T!!

Hollie had a very busy day today. She had her school program at noon and her ballet recital tonight. She did very good in both of them.
Apparently I didn't take many pictures at her school program, I was video taping and Ben was chasing Jeremy around the gym, maybe an aunt or grandma could give me one to place here (hint, hint).

Kennedy's recital was last night and she did very good also.

Both of their gymnastics demonstrations are next Monday so stay tuned for more pictures.

On May 3rd at 9:26 am we welcomed Kayden Alyce Dyer into the world. She is beautiful. She also has a great set of lungs and sweetest little cry (although they all start out that way). Monica and Kayden came home today and they are all starting to get used to their life together. Kennedy is the proudest big sister and Karson has no idea what has happened but doesn't seem too bothered yet. I can imagine lots of good times ahead for all of us.
